Choice of Half Marathon or Marathon distance

Back for the 8th year, come and run a half or full marathon with us this September to celebrate everything that is The Guardians.

The marathon route takes runners from the south of Telford in Coalport along the Silkin Way, weaving right through the heart of Telford to Brockton in the north. Runners can refuel with cake and drinks before retracing their steps to Coalport to celebrate. The half marathon turns around just north of Oakengates before returning to Coalport.

The Silkin Way is a permanent footpath and cycle trail through Telford’s industrial history, following disused railway lines and canal beds, and provides a solid running surface of tarmac paths, so road shoes will be sufficient.

Blingtastic medals to all finishers. The spinning medal marks your first attempt, Groot the second, and complete the set with the racoon on your you third outing!
