Superb event with great scenery and support. Would recommend to anyone and definitely would do it again

Amazing scenery!!!
Tough but really enjoyable.
Also really well organised.
I think it could be challenging if you weren’t used to trail running. Great scenery though
Another water station especially if you were doing the marathon
Rick Shaw
Hard but amazing in all respects
About my 6/7th time doing this race. Absolutely love it.
Felicity Aries
Great event in a beautiful setting.
Lovely route and event, a small field so no "pushing and shoving" on narrow trails that you see in some races. Well signed and GPX helped confirm things, good comms before the race and great having a National Trust cafe for afterwards. My fifth How Hard Can it Be event and highly recommend them.

Amazing time 10/10
This was the first marathon I've done and I had an amazing time and made many friends!
Really lovely organisers.
The left turn into the valley before the gliding club could have been better marked but I'm sure it was originally.

Spectacular views, but you have to work hard.
I was relieved that I could work hard in the first half to achieve the cut-off, although I was always going to be slower in the second half. It was well worth the effort!
Lisa Dams
epic scenery, big hills!
Absolutely stunning scenery. The hills are brutal and big. This was my first half marathon and I absolutely loved it.
Claire Parker
Hard but enjoyable!
Amazing snacks at checkpoint!!

When I can, I always enter the How Hard Can It Be Events, particularly ones that are set in the Shropshire Hills and the Long Mynd.

Absolutely loved this event, from the beginning we were made to feel welcome with such a friendly bunch.
