For my 1st small field marathon event it was a very different atmosphere and feel to it however I actually enjoyed all the peacefulness. I found this tested me more physically and mentally as that support out in the field wasn't there and a bonus I didn't get lost for using the GPX file on my watch for the first time. Great price for a great event, medal, goodies and the warm welcome.

Only ever ran on ny own before. First ever run like this, everyone was super friendly and supportive. Event organisers were lovely, can't wait to get back out there! Thank you!

The course provided a wonderful way to see so much of the beautiful countryside and villages. The lady who was handing out refreshments at the pub was delightful! She’s a gem! Sharing stories with other competitors after the event was lots of fun. Being able to buy a beer and have a snack post race was great too.

Course marking was good and well explained at the briefing. Start and finish at the Pub is always a plus!!!
The check point was well stocked.
Good event around and I’ve already recommended this run to my running friends back in Australia. My run club at home is “On the Run” Mackay QLD Australia.
