Just how hard can it be...
Choice of 50 Miles or 10 miles and the rest virtually

New for 2024 is our take on the amazing Telford T50 pathway (but anticlockwise) taking in so many special and interesting places in Telford. From the world famous Ironbridge to the heights of the Wrekin, through past industrial areas. It really is an amazing trip through history.

There will be 4 checkpoints on the course for you offering food and drinks and cake! Must have cake!! We are also having our biggest ever medal made for this event!!

We would recommend trail shoes for this event.

Cut off time is 10PM.

If 50 miles is too much for you in one go we are also offering a virtual package where you can come and join us for the first 10 miles of the route. You will get the route book and medal and you can continue the route in your own time.

Mandatory kit will include waterproof jacket, ruck sack with bladder, fully charged mobile phone, energy bar, basic 1st aid kit and a £20 note for bribes.

TT50
Tough week at work, but finally a bit of time to write about the Tt50.
It's one of those 50s not to be underestimated. It's got everything you need, hills flat, road, superbly stocked aid stations just fantastic Marshalls and cp3 coffee to die for. I took this challenge on a bit late but already had big miles the legs so knew I was good for the distance.  I'd decided to accompany my friend Alice Malone on her first ultra. She could have chosen one of the flatter ultras but decided to do the tt50. I'm glad she did. Denzil and Co didn't clear the mist from the Wrekin so we could have nice views, but I bet they would have if they could've.  If you're ever looking for a 50 that has great waymarking, great aid stations, great organisation and a good challenging course this is it. It suits seasoned ultra runners and newbies alike. The early 0630 start is perfect for those who always are wide awake on race day .  The race covers a pre marked route around Shropshire and has great views everywhere. Also plenty of places enroute to fuel up if for some weird reason the aid stations aren't enough. The course could be taxing if you don't do the miles in training, but very manageable if you do. I loved it. I felt like I could have gone on longer but all good things come to an end unfortunately. I reckon the TT 100 would break a few decent runners. I got value for money I reckon, as runners we're also consumers and sometimes get short changed in some races, this is not that race. You get more for your money.Cheers Denzil and crew, see you all again. Get the coffees in.
